Cafe Oven-Fried Chicken


 Yield 4 Servings

Ingredients

4 bone-in Chicken Breast

4 Chicken drumsticks

1 cup buttermilk

2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

½ tablespoon celery salt

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons pepper

3 tablespoons of canola oil


Directions

1.     Preheat oven to 475 degrees.  Line large baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.     Add chicken pieces to a bowl.

3.     Pour buttermilk over the top.  Toss to coat.  Let marinate for about 15 minutes or overnight.

 4.     Setup coating in a plastic Ziplock bag, add breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, celery salt, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.  Mix to combine coating.


5.     Add chicken pieces to bag and shake to coat. 

6.     Place chicken on baking sheet space apart. Drizzle oil over top of chicken.

Bake for 25- 30 minutes, turning chicken halfway during cooking time.
